I began using Python with this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Python-Programming-Third-Edition/dp/1435455002. although it was my first introduction to programming in general so it is probably a little basic for someone that already knows what they are talking about.

As for online IDE, you could try https://repl.it it's the only online IDE I have really used for Python
