As you might know, the quantum revolution is on its way, progress are astonishing and the singularity is getting closer.
Most current blockchains are inheritantly vulnerable to quantum attacks, and it is hard to predict the scale of the damage a "quantum armageddon" would have in this field.
The Quantum Resistant Ledger aims to solve this issue and provide a blockchain that is resistant to quantum attacks.
The protocol and application have been designed by scratch by a team comprising skilled programmers, physicist, and mathematician.
Upon release mid june, QRL rose to the 40th position on coinmarketcap, before slowly going down until the "Jomari Bomb" on July 28th. Where the price crashed.
QRL has astonishingly slowly recovered since then, being number 117 on coinmarketcap at the time of writing, with a market cap of barely 31.000.000.
While not many news seem to get out of the alpha testing channel, you can see on the project's github, that it is very far from being dead as claimed by Jomari, all the countrary:
- Actove discord channel
- The code has been mostly converted from python2 to python3/C++
- Wallet already working and being tested on Windows/linux/OSX.
- Mainnet launch os getting close,
While a few project claim to be quantum resistant, QRL is the only blockchain project focusing on the quantum issue from the core in every aspect of the protocol, hence it is currently wildly undervaluated.
