F*k it I’m just gonna say it Qtum; is the Chinese Ethereum!
Love what the team is going for. Going through the top 100 coins I didn’t have to look far #15 Qtum, fantastic project. Love what the team is going for - If we want the blockchain to enjoy mass adoption (which we do) we should keep it simple for businesses – which is exactly what Qtum is going for: quick, easy, mass adoption.
What is QTUM? Their model is to make a sidechain for both Ethereum and Bitcoin technology, thus making it useful for big firms, like a consultancy service one could say.
Corporate governance – Refreshing to see a team taking this so serious. Understanding the importance of transparency and I believe even enlisting the services of a Big 4 accountancy firm to review their books, fantastic – also doesn’t sound like something a scammer would do.
Dispelling the ‘scam’ (word get thrown around way to much imo) rumours about Dai once and for all (please provide concrete evidence) – Do you know what they called Steve Jobs when he temporarily left apple – it’s a lot worst then ‘scammer’ I can tell ya that. Ever heard of the disgruntled/jealous/grieving ex-employee smearing their former employer – classic example. It’s distasteful, disrespectful, wicked slander. But hard work will pay off; and baseless accusations will wear off!
But what is Qtum developing when their mainnet is released? 17 projects are in the works of which 4 are good to go on the day of the release.
I had to book a restaurant for my company retreat this weekend; but how do you know if it’s any good? Pictures are ‘window dressed’, google street view only goes so far. Insert Vevue project – make videos, earn bitcoin.
Other exciting projects include: Energo, Inkchain and Bodhi.
The fantastic developer has a blog (Earlz.Net) where he describes his work/understanding of the blockchain in incredible detail; he’s on top of every development and worked in the industry for many years. He also brings the topic with some humour – not easy ;).
But don’t take it from me here is another excellent report that came to the same conclusion. https://storeofvalue.github.io/posts/neo-vs-qtum-which-is-the-real-chinese-ethereum/
