asper Creek
Jaspe Creek is one of the most visited places in the Gran Sabana. Easy to access, well organized and signposted, it is a must stop. From the parking lot, you should make a small and easy journey through the jungle and you reach the ravine.
There is a large slab 300 meters long, where the water is only a few centimeters deep. On the right, there is a small waterfall that is an excellent place to receive a nice water massage, or simply to enjoy the water with a very pleasant temperature.
The name of the Jasper ravine, is because the bottom is a semi-precious stone called Jaspe, which is actually a compound of quartz and silica, with a very strong red color.
