blue = 5
yellow = 2 (1x1)

101 surely

1 + (20 x 5) = 101 where am I going wrong ?

The answer is 102

can you write the workings out for me ;)

1 + (20 x 5) = 101

yes

2+(5*20)=102

No, outerground actually is correct! You always get fooled by your own tricks. My guess is you just copied the picture somewhere without understanding it but thinking you do.

ok I see your ERROR - the yellow sunflowers (blue flower = 5 - (two of the sunflowers)

so they're 1 each = the total (3) is from 5-2 = 3

on the bottom line of the equation there is only one sunflower, not two. you missed the basic trick of this QUIZ. you assumed two flowers are equal to one.

There would be no reason to place 2 sunflowers in the third line and one on the bottom line if 1 sunflower didn't represent itself.

I think you'll find the correct answer is 1+(20x5)= 101

@Sammy111100 is correct. Unfortunately you did just copy it without understanding it properly. You were fooled by the deliberate inclusion of a double symbol & simple fact that 2 flowers represent 1 each. Better luck next time @taouilabderrahim this double symbol was meant to catch you out. no need to be too worried, it also caught out

101 is right

show me the working out @ohkaaay ? it's 101 until the end of the Universe.
It could also be misinterpreted as 105 (1+20)x 5 = 105 ! maths is funny like that. There are simple rules of counting and then there are conventions which must be followed

google it "1 + 20 x 5" = ? and if you try it like this "(1+20) x 5" = ? you see the difference

(ok you've come around now !) yes 101 is correct
