Now about thorns. They have so much meaning and symbolism, for obvious reasons! I love the quote you provided, because it describes two very different views. And it is similar, of course, to the sentiment about lemons and lemonade.

Here is my esoteric and highly rhetorical question. Do you think people who only see thorns as thorns, and lemons as lemons, are open to the idea that they can be gleeful about roses and lemonade? I would like to think so (being a roses and lemonade-oriented person), but I fear that people have tendencies, and that it is very difficult to convince them to see things from another perspective.

Just my rambling thoughts. In my heart, I hope (for hope is lovely and free) that you are inspiring new perspectives, new imaginings, and change.
