At The Greens, we connect with nature and we have learned a lot about who we are by working in nature to protect nature.

"I have learned to be more compassionate, loving and caring as a grassroots environmentalist. I got an effective understanding of water catchment protection by visiting the water catchments and seing how degraded they were. Cattle grazed in the catchments meanwhile people farmed around the catchments. I couldn't believe we were drinking "fertilized water" with soo much cow dung running into the catchment. I felt very bad knowing this was happening and decided to take action to protect our water catchments by planting trees and fencing the catchment. I have also learned to build wonderful friendships by hiking the forests and spending nights in the forests with people" says Mr. Green (@dukefranky).
If he didn't lose himself in nature, he wouldn't have known that water catchment protection is very important and he wouldn't have known how much he cared for his people.
