This Quote from the Tibetan Buddhist Monk Chamtrul rinpoche can be served as a reminder that our Inner peace is much effected by our attachment to the desire rather than external event.
We are insatiable. We are discontent with the things we already have and because of that we have lost our Inner peace.
And why such conditions ? Is it because of our Human nature ?
Nope! It's because we are the victims of Consumerism. Which makes us our desire and greed unlimited. ultimately leading to the state of feeling emptiness. Things wont satisfy, its only us. Only if we could be aware of such things or be meditative, we wont be falling in such traps and quotes like above can be of a good reminder.
