Super Hang-On was an incredibly challenging arcade racing game, and it was the sequel to Sega's original Hang-On title from 1985, although with some varied differences. Super Hang-On featured 4 tracks, each of which represents a different continent, as well as a turbo boost mode that could be initiated once your bike hit the 280Km/h mark.
Notice the background scenes change with each passing checkpoint, reminiscent of Sega's classic Out Run series. While this game was ported to a number of home consoles and computers, none really lived up to the glory of the original arcade version depicted here.
Here we played on the Asia course, one of the hard tracks to race on in the game. The first stage of the game, the Africa stage was the easiest, and even that track is incredibly hard to beat.
