Was this another case of racism? Was it police brutality?
Reportedly, a parent in the stands was watching her child playing sports when the police officer assigned to the school approached her and asked her to put on her mask. She refused and said she had asthma. The officer, Chris "Smitty" Smith, informed her that school policy required a mask to be worn and asked her to leave if she wouldn't comply. She repeatedly refused to put on a mask and then refused to leave. He warned her that if she didn't, he would escort her off the property, but she still wouldn't cooperate.
An onlooker who disapproved started recording. Officer Smith then manhandled her as the woman next to her, possibly her mom, tried to interfere. As she continued to resist, scream at him and struggle and was abetted by the other, larger woman, who was also screaming at him, the officer pulled his taser, used it and got the handcuffs on her. During the scuffle, another man approached who was apparently part of the school. Even when Smitty had the woman on her feet, she continued to resist being taken off the property. Her mother yelled that she was going to sue him for pushing her (I have to say that, based on the video, he showed considerable restraint despite her attempts to help her daughter). As far as I could see, neither woman assaulted him. The woman was arrested for trespassing because she had refused to leave the school property in compliance with policy. I believe both women may face other charges.
Officer Smith is known as a nice guy. The unidentified woman has a police record including marijuana and disorderly conduct.
This is what happens when you resist the police! Grow up and comply with the law!
Here's the difference from cases like Blake, Littleton and Brookes: "Smitty" is black and the women are white, and NO accusations of racism or police brutality are being leveled. Although there have been threats against the school (forcing the school to put it in lockdown from outsiders) and others, there have been no riots, looting or arson, and some parents have gathered outside the school to show support for what Smitty did.
Yet, the yellow journalists and pandering politicians are quiet about anything involving racism or police brutality. The only thing that the sham journalists did that was deceptive was to repeatedly claim that the woman was arrested for not wearing a mask (lie)! Good thing this didn't happen in Wisconsin!
Why is it that when it's white on black, crazy accusations start and shit gets out of control, but when it's black on white, it's fairly calm? This is why I despise BLM and CoC, as well as the pandering politicians and yellow journalists who are all stirring up so much of the trouble!
