Rage 2: Denuvo removed in record time

Rage 2 has entered the market with controversial judgments: on the one hand in combat it is as fun as DooM 2016, on the other hand it has a flat optional activity structure and a very incoherent history. Also the use of the Denuvo anti-piracy system to fuel the launch's perplexity, not loved by players because it is intrusive and usually involves decreases in performance in the games where it is used.

Bethesda has decided to remove Denuvo from Rage 2's PC version even though the game has been on the market for a couple of days. This is because a crack was prepared for Rage 2 by the hacking community and made available on the day it was released.

It was useless to keep Denuvo at that point, also because the Bethesda Launcher version of Rage 2 was missing from the beginning. Therefore, a small hotfix has arrived to deprive Denuvo even of the game's Steam version. The update brings other additions such as a crash report, crash fixes that are scaleform-dependent, and other small things.
Unlike in previous cases, however, there are no performance improvements to the game, a sign that this time Denuvo's application did not involve an impact on the frame rate or uploads.
