Pramong Praja Police Unit and Wilayatul Hisbah (special police for the enforcement of Sharia) of Aceh Province conducted a clothing raid in Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province, Indonesia on Thursday, August 24, 2017. Clothing raid was carried out as an implementation of qanun number 11 year 2002 about Islamic dress .
Clothing raids were conducted against road users dressed in tight clothes and shorts. For information, Aceh Province is the only province in Indonesia that enforces sharia law.
