Meanwhile Back At The Ranch: fencing fencing and more fencing

We have been spending every spare day rain or shine out fencing . Last weekend we got another section fenced and moved the pairs out to that pasture . We have had a couple of warm days but it is back to rain and snow today. We have about a half mile left to fence to be done for this year. The neighbor has dropped his sheep on the land next to us so this now gets even more critical to enclose this last stretch.

This last stretch was the toughest terrain we have had to deal with and I’d was quite challenging pulling wire.

Everyone was quite anxious to get into that new green grass. We had an audience cheering us on

The sweet peas and blue bells are in bloom.

Sweet peas help fix nitrogen in the soil as you can see the blue bell was surrounded by a clover. Another great soil building plant.
Today we are going to put on the rain gear and go work another section. Forecast is an inch of rain today and snow tomorrow. We now hav a flood each in effect for all of western South Dakota.
We will take the rain you can keep the Snow .
