Figuratively means metaphorically, and literally describes something that actually happened or something that is exactly what it is. I can call myself The Literal Mind Of J.P. Weller because all that makes me ME is within the mind/brain that is in the body that physically represents me. While you chew on that rant I leave you with this.
I have literally been up since 6:30 yesterday morning and I feel like I have been awake for a week...Figuratively speaking of course.
