Let's start with medications. Being a diabetic, I take a high dose of Basaglar. It is an insulin that I inject through a pen. After releasing 2 units, I then inject a dose that is usually a few units shy of my recommended dose. However, when I call in my refill, the pharmacy always instructs me that the insulin can be filled usually a day or two after I am scheduled to run out. This is according to the insurance company. Now, I know that many high school students have trouble with math, but the company providing your medication should be able to figure out when it is due to be finished!
The New York Yankees have had an unbelievable season, and it is still going on. They won over 100 games while having over 30 players reach the injured list during the course of the season. What is most amazing about that is each team is permitted to carry 25 players at any given time until the rosters expand in September. This was definitely a team effort with players such as Gio Urshela, Cameron Maybin, Domingo German and others stepping up. German is currently suspended due to an alleged domestic violence charge. If he is guilty, he deserves to face whatever is thrown his way for being an idiot.
I have been reading and hearing many studies that explain how much healthier we could be if we dropped meat from our diet. Everything I read has made sense, but I haven't taken the leap just yet. If I could get rid of some of the medications that I am currently taking, it makes sense for me to look into this further. Supposedly, you can consume enough protein from plant-based food. I would love to convince the other people in my household to try this with me.
It looks like things are about to get exciting if you are a professional wrestling fan. With AEW having a deal with a major network and WWE's NXT going head to head with them on Wednesday evening, the competition should lead to some interesting programming. There was already chants of "AEW" at a recent WWE Pay-Per-View. TNA, Ring of Honor and other lesser promotions are still out there as well. The competition should help everyone that is in the business of performing within the squared circle.
For quite a few years now, friends and family have suggested that I write a book. I have enough material to write about some musicians who have attained a great deal of success. However, then I begin thinking that I probably should start with fiction due to my sometimes overactive imagination. I believe that I have been spending too much time thinking about it. I feel the best way for me to get really started is by just putting the pen to paper, or the fingers to the keyboard, and see what develops!
A big thank you goes out to whoever completely read this blog, especially being that it contained exactly what the title said it would. I should do this more often. It can be good therapy.
