Friday is a glorious day compared to other days. Friday's glory can be seen from the many sunnah practices recommended to do so on Friday and Friday nights. On that day, men were obliged to pray Friday in congregation.
Rasulullah SAW on Friday also has certain habits. Uniquely, he is not only busy to worship, such as reading al-Qur'an, dzikir, prayer, and other rituals, but also forging and tightening the rope of friendship.
The Prophet's tradition on Friday was narrated by al-Suyuthi in 'Amal Yaum wa Lailah, he said, "The Prophet SAW read al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, and al-Nas letters after Friday prayers seven times and he also increased his salawat Friday and night. After Friday prayers he used to perform sunnah prayers at home, not in the mosque. Afterwards, he visits his relatives, visits the sick, attends the funeral, and attends the marriage.
