Hi John, sorry for such a late welcome to Steemit, but welcome!! A thumbs up for the video and sorry I missed the first 7 days for upvoting.

What is it that kills the rat in this recipe? It's it the baking soda?

On Steemit not everyone is a video watcher, so for the readers among us having a written summary as well would go down well. 😉

    Thank you! Yes, the baking soda does the trick. Rats and Mice cannot pass gas, so it kills them internally. This is a way better and SAFER way of getting rid of those pesky rodents without putting out harmful poisons or traps! Thanks for watching!
