What really inspires me is that you feel so well eating such row stuff. From the ecologically point of view however veganism doesn't make sense, because every cheap avocado, banana or other fresh exotic fruit needs to be flown in. If you live in a cold wet country you will have a hard time with only local vegan food.

    This might be true for raw veganism, but eating normal vegan food is possible in every country or climate. It's pretty easy to buy local and seasonal food that is vegan. There is no need to eat avocados etc. whatsoever.
