Current reading list

I read a lot and I prefer books in hand and tangible. The lights of the computer have done me no good and somehow some of the romance is just not there so I stick with a good book in hand all snuggled up in a cozy nook. Here is a peak at the current reads that should get me through the next couple weeks. What are you reading currently?

Nice, the good old days! Reading a real book, a rare and decadent pleasure.
And the Voinich Manuscript, LOL. What an interesting read. Would recommend a nice vintage Cognac to go along with it....

You sure know how to lounge with a book. ;)

LOL. I'm Old School :)

I have too many books in my bag & none getting read! The Apocalyptic Witch arrived at my doorstep, (thank you for suggestion). How We Die & Zolar's Dream book... I try to read on breaks at work. Your home always looks the coziest & beautiful.

Oh gurl, those are all great books, but, as you know, I am so in love with Apocalyptic Witchcraft, it is so fking Good! I just love all things from The Scarlet Imprint publishers.

I read most nights before I sleep and then I make small breaks in the day for more reading (It's like cigar breaks if I smoked. ha. ), somehow it grounds me and helps my creative juices. Of course, there are days when nothing gets read too.

I'm just about to crack open St. Teresa of Avila! Keep it weird, sister.

Always, Frater. ;)

There's just such a great genuine and authentic feeling you get as you cradle a good book hidden away in your own world.
Serenity building with every flick of the pages, or sometimes, a manic thrill.
Currently reading "Oathbringer, by Brandon Sanderson", as well as a wide, wide variety of online translated Chinese fantasy novels.

Should be delving into some Lovecraftian goodness soon as well.

I do love Chinese arts. I have be meaing to re-read The Shadow of Innsmouth.

There are still lots of us lounging paper book readers about, it's always nice to find more.

I mostly read on public transportation these days. I've been lugging about Every Heart a Doorway in translated form for 1-2 weeks now, but been thinking of poetry and its recipient lately. After that, I have Malka Older's Infomocracy and Annalee Newitz's Autonomous, and I've been meaning to return to Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun which I put on hold a while back.

And I'm reading David Chalmers's Constructing the World for school.

You are a busy reader and commenter. ::giggles::

Annalee Newitz's Autonomous is on my list, how is it thus far?

Well, these are the books I'm going to read next, so I don't know! But I will keep you posted.

Which reminds me, I know the perfect book for you. I'll share it with you tonight :)
