Currency converter, the mega Currency converter.

in realityhubs •  5 years ago

Hi all! Welcome to another blog of mine. This blog is a review of an app that is useful for anyone that is doing international business. Or people that have reasons to convert one currency to another. It is glaring that all people on Steem may need this app since not everyone uses the dollar in their country. I am from Africa, and we spend the Nigeria Naira here. This means if I earn any dollar, there is a need to convert the dollar to my currency so to know the actual money I earned. I have been using a calculator to convert. It hasn't really been accurate, but I normally get the range of what the value would be. This is because of the value of dollar fluctuate every time, and it gets tiring adding the fractions up. All these were solved when I encounter this Android mobile app that is used for conversion. The name is Currency Converter.

I like apps that have names which are easy to understand. This one is another one. Sometimes I feel app's owners should add something behind their project names so that it won't lose in the middle of plenty of apps. There may be two or more apps that have this name on. If I have the chance to talk with this owner, I will advise him/her.

This Currency converter is very easy to use, and very direct. No special skill needed. I downloaded, and I started using instantly. By launch, there are some currencies already added to the main front where conversions are made. These are currencies that are leading the world, such as USD, GBP, EUR, and JPY. Since my country currency isn't here, I add it. NGN and I add another AED, which is the currency of the United Arab Emirate. These are the two currencies I would need for now. I might add later, but that is all I need.

The big PLUS icon is used to add more currencies on the app. Once pressed, the app will show a page where all the world currencies could be added, and there is a search feature there which is used to ease the stress of searching one by one. A simple click on any currency will add the currency to the list for the user. And a swipe left, and right will delete any currency.

How does it work?

Very simple. When you input any amount to any currency in the list of currencies you prefer it will automatically generate the value across all the currencies on the list. The screengrab below shows when I converted #500 to other currencies on the list.

The major features in the app are the LANGUAGE and THEME. The languages available in the app are English and Espanol. The themes are Dark and White. Nothing else. I believe I don't need to write a block of texts on that as I think they are self-explanatory. This is just an app for easy usage. If you don't need a complex app, you need this one. Download it.

Hey there @chain-yanker. Thanks for contributing to the realityhubs community. However, I have some few issues with your review. Firstly, your review isn't informative. Secondly, it barely contains your perspective about the app. Lastly, a review isn't about telling the good part of the product/app you're reviewing. You should also point out the bad parts too. Thanks once more for your contribution.

Please read our posting guidelines.

Hey, thank you!

Firstly, your review isn't informative.

Elaborate. You can't just say a review is not informative without pointing out something.

Secondly, it barely contains your perspective about the app.

The experiences share are the things needed for the purpose of the app. It isn't a must to start sharing unnecessary stories. The app is very basic.

Lastly, a review isn't about telling the good part of the product/app you're reviewing.

If you had read thoroughly you could have seen one.

Sometimes I feel app's owners should add something behind their project names so that it won't lose in the middle of plenty of apps. There may be two or more apps that have this name on. If I have the chance to talk with this owner, I will advise him/her.

There you have one. I don't have to criticize the app. I like its simplicity.

Thank you!

Hello again @chain-yanker.

Before a moderator comments on your post, he or she must have read it to see if you followed the guidelines. I read through your post and I understood it. However, when I say your review isn't informative, I meant that it doesn't contain all the necessary information.

The experiences share are the things needed for the purpose of the app. It isn't a must to start sharing unnecessary stories. The app is very basic.
Even if it is basic, one should still have perspectives about the app.

There you have one. I don't have to criticize the app. I like its simplicity.
I do not ask you to criticize the app. However, it is more of a honest review when you review the ups and downs of the app. ☺

Just in case you have questions or want further explanations, I suggest that you kindly Chat with us on Discord.
