Masala dosa is a Indian breakfast item that has gathered popularity. It's frequently served with coconut chutney and sambar. Garam masala dosa is a bit different from the garam masala dosa. Here a spicy chutney spread and is made across the dosa that provides flavor and a taste. Unlike the regular dosas, they're more brownish in colour and also a little spongy inside. A dollop of butter is added on top of the curry filling before the dosa. You could be interested such as matar chila, set dosa, poori, and others.
Heat one teaspoon in a pan of oil. When the oil is hot add onion, dry chili, garlic, shallots or chana dal and saute for many minutes. Transfer the ingredients that are sauteed. Add a little water and grind it. Red chutney for garam masala dosa is ready. Pressure cook potatoes with water to 4 tablespoons or until they get cooked. Wait until the pressure subsides. Peel skin off, and crumble them. Splutter mustard seeds when the oil is hot enough. Add onion, green chili, ginger, and saute until onion turns translucent. Add asafoetida powder, turmeric powder and saute until the odor that is raw goes off.
Add the potato and saute. Reduce the flame to low, cover and then cook until the water becomes consumed. Now add lemon juice, perfectly chopped coriander leaves, and mix well. Potato garam masala for mysore garam masala dosa is ready. Take dosa batter in a bowl.
Add water if necessary to urge the required consistency.
Heat a dosa tawa or a plate and grease it with oil. After the tawa is warm enough, add one ladle full of kneading in the hot tawa and disperse in a circular motion. Drizzle one teaspoon of oil around the edges and then in the center.
Cover the dosa together with a lid and allow it cook. Take one spoonful of red chutney and then disperse it at the top of the dosa. Drizzle few drops of oil on the dosa. Now add the potato garam masala at the top of the chutney and disperse it at the top of the dosa. Add a little butter on top. Now cautiously fold the dosa and then transfer to a serving plate. Serve mysore garam masala dosa together with coconut chutney and sambar.
