Recessions aren't really confirmed until they've been one for months.

I keep hearing words like "if or "when" in the same sentence as the word "recession".

We are in one, currently. There are enough numbers to confirm as of this week. Maybe some authorities want to wait for even more reports to officially announce what we already know, but make no mistake. We're currently in one.

Now the optimistic bits--

I personally believe it'll be short lived for a recession. And there will be a lag of time before we can officially state that we're heading out of one as well.

I give it about 12 months. Elon guesses 18. Wall Street is too afraid to even call it one yet. Haha

There's also levels to how bad when. Like... It'll be better in month ten than month five.

I'm not selling off or anything. It's just a matter of time, and timing is.. I think the technical term is "super duper hard to predict".
