Chocolate Pudding
INGREDIENTS
one cup white sugar
two tablespoons cornstarch
quarter teaspoon salt
two cups milk
two (one ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
two egg yolks
two tablespoons butter
two teaspoons vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
In a medium sized pan over medium heat, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Blend in milk and chocolate. Cook, mixing constantly, till chocolate melts and mixture thickens. Eliminate from heat and blend in egg yolks. Return to heat and cook two minutes more. Remove from heat and mix in butter and vanilla. Chill before serving.
