How to Make "" Corn and Bacon Bread"" Recipe!!

Ingredients:

  • 35 gm flour
  • 200 gm American corn kernels
  • 2 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 170 gm butter
  • 6 sliced bacon
  • 120 gm Yellow cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 beaten egg

Prepare:

  • Step 1
    Heat the kitchen appliance to 190c/fat170c/gas5. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the Indian meal, sweet corn, leaven and sugar.

  • Step 2
    Put the milk and butter into a pan and soften kitchen appliance a really low heat. combine the buttermilk into the flour mixture with an overwhelmed egg till it's well combined. Add 1/2 the bacon strips and season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3
    Butter a 900 g loaf tin, pour the mixture in and sprinkle kitchen appliance the remainder of the bacon.

  • Step 4
    Bake for forty minutes, or till a skewer comes out clean. Leave to chill in its tin.

  • Step 5
    Serve slightly warm with butter, or with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.
