INGREDIENTS:
five lbs beef top round steak
two tablespoons mild chili powder (Awaze)
three tablespoons dry wine or 3 tablespoons sherry wine
one tablespoon olive oil or one tablespoon vegetable oil
quarter teaspoon cardamom powder (Korerima)
half teaspoon ground black pepper
one eight teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove fat and slice meat in long strips with zigzag shapes.
Combine awaze, wine, oil, cardamom, black pepper and salt.
Marinate meat with mixed dressing.
Put meat on food dehydrator or jerky maker; cover and dehydrate till crisp dry.
Break dried meat in small pieces; keep pieces in a tight glass jar.
Use as snack or appetizer.
