Pumpkin jam with orange

Ingredients


  • 1 kg of pumpkin pulp;
  • 2 oranges;
  • 1 kg of sugar;
  • ½ – 1 teaspoon of citric acid;
  • ground cinnamon - to taste.

Cooking



Slice the pumpkin in small pieces. If oranges with a thick skin, it is better to clean it off so that it does not taste bitter. Cut the citrus pieces and remove the bones.

Using a blender, turn oranges and pumpkins into mashed potatoes. Put it in a saucepan, add sugar and mix thoroughly.

Put the pot on a strong fire and, while stirring constantly, bring the jam to a boil. Then cook it on low heat for 20 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, add citric acid and cinnamon.
