Scored a flat of strawberries this morning and all I could think of was strawberry freezer jam! There is nothing better than fresh strawberries!
Put it in a basin.
Mixed it with sugar and water.
Pit it in a olastic storage.

I use to eat strawberries before lunch everyday at work. But with your post ,am seeing new and interesting ways of enjoying this fruit.

The strawberries mashed with sugar goes REALLY well over a bisquick biscuit fresh from the oven, some butter and then pour half and half over the top. That was my families version of strawberry short-cake growing up.

Fresh strawberries are always the best. Those strawberries in your post must be very sweet. I really dream of picking my own strawberries as they're not very common fruit here in Cebu. You're so lucky! =)
