Sesame Green Beans
Ingredients:
eight ounces fresh green beans
two tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
half tablespoon miso paste
half teaspoon red pepper flakes
four cloves garlic
one teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
one tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
Put the green beans into a steamer insert and set in a pot over one inch of water. Bring to a boil, cover and steam for five minutes. Remove from the fire and transfer beans to a bowl.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, miso paste, red pepper flakes, garlic and ginger. Add over the green beans and toss to cover. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
