There are many versions with coconut, only milk and cornstarch, passion fruit, strawberry, orange and others, but as I am a chocolate lover I share this chocolate custard recipe to give you an exquisite taste, we can find custard in but I assure you that preparing it is a house will be much more exquisite.
Ingredients:
- 25 g (2 tablespoons) of sugar
- 25 g (2 tablespoons) of cornstarch
- 25 g (2 tablespoons) of cocoa powder, sugar-free
- 350 mL (1 and ½ cups) of whole milk
- 120 mL (½ cup) of cream (to assemble)
- 113 g of milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Preparation:
We start by mixing sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and a pinch of salt in a pot that does not stick, little by little, we add milk and cream. Let it begin to boil over medium high heat, beating with consistency, about 2 minutes the mixture will get thick, remove it from the heat and add the chocolate and vanilla, beating until smooth. Place it in small glasses and let it cool in the refrigerator covered with wax paper, at least 2 hours or up to 3 days.
