Easy Cherry Clafoutis from Tastemade

 INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup (50g) butter
  • 1 lb (450g) cherries
  • 4 eggs
  • ⅓ cup (60g) sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup + 2 Tbsp (100g) flour
  • ¾ cup (20 cl) milk
  • Optional: Icing sugar and ice cream

 LET'S GET COOKING...

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Butter ramekins or a cake mold and lay out the cherries on the bottom.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
  4. In a small bowl, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and flour and mix well. Add the melted butter and stir. Slowly add the milk while stirring continuously.
  5. Pour the batter on top of the cherries.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 400ºF, then lower the temperature to 350ºF and bake for another 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Can be served warm or cold with ice cream.
