CRISPY POPIAH FRIED WITH CHEESE

It's been ages ago I shared new recipes. Today I'm going to share another simple recipe because Raya is just around the corner. Hooray.

I make this fried crispy popiah usually in a big quantity. The reason is because when watching my darling oppa "Lee Jong Suk, Lee Joon Gi and Lee Min Ho"I must munch something. LOL.


Sometimes I make caramels popcorn and sometimes crispy popiah. FATS FATS FATS but it tastes so good. Sigh.

HERE IS THE RECIPE :


FRIED CRISPY POPIA WITH CHEESE

  • Popia Skin
  • Water (to glue the popia skin)
  • Oil to fry
  • Chili powder
  • Cheese Powder


STEPS

  • Take the popia skins and rolled it and use water to glued it together. Don't rolled it to tight ya. Finish rolling all the popia skins.

  • Get a sharp scissor and snip it slightly slanting. This is to make the popia skin cooked evenly and nice.

  • Then, Deep fried the popia until golden brown.

  • Cool it a bit then add chilli powder and cheese powder.

  • Store it in an airtight container and enjoy eating it while watching series or while "onion - ing or tumeric - ing" (kot kot nak membawang atau mengunyitkan diri)

There you have it. Delicious to the very last crumbs.

I showed this to my cooking-crazed 12 year old personal chef. He loves it! I'm definitely going to buy the ingredients and get him to make some for me. We're very much into making our own snacks rather than buying junk food from the stores.
