Beans soup preparation popularly know as gbegiri

Let thank God for another opportunity given to me by this afternoon to be here again. Today another recipe of my favorite would be share to fellow steemian like I said on my previous blog that I would sharing procedure on how beans soup is prepared. Bean soup is alway eat by the Yoruba and some other tribes that have lived with them because it a delicious soup. It very easy to cook.

Material need for the soup (gbegiri).

  • Beans the main sources of the soup.

  • pepper. (Ground one)

  • onions.

  • red oil.

  • seasoning and salt.

  • locust beans it depend on your choice.

procedure to follow to get the soup done.

  • step 1; light your gas and put your pot on fire with water in it, make sure you have separate your beans from the unwanted particle from it and pour the beans on the fire.
  • step 2; add onions and allow the bean to cook very well, and add pepper to it and allow it cook very well again.
  • step 3; add seasoning again with red oil and allow it to steam up very well before you check it on fire again.
  • step 4; before you start sieving it make sure the bean seed is over soft to allow it to bring much water out. Once the softened is achieved.
  • step 5; you can start the process of sieving it with your sieve. Take the pot down from fire and position your sieve on neat blow which the water coming from the Bean can stay in the bowl. Pure the beans in the sieve and find stirer to press the beans so that the water would come out and remain most of the beans peel at the top of the sieve.
  • step 6; pour the water extracted from the beans into the pot and add your locust beans and allow it to steam up for some minute. Before you turn off your gas and the soup is red to take.
