1 Green pepper, small
1 Red pepper, small
1 Carrot
1 Onion, small
1 Leek, (only the white part)
1 bay leaf
1 Tablespoon of Sweet Pepper,
Olive oil, 3 tablespoons
Water, 750 ml
Salt
preparation:
Let the lentils soak the night before, after soaking they drain and place them in water and set them to cook over medium heat until softened.
Cut the peppers, onions, carrots and leeks into small pieces.
We put to heat the oil in the normal pot, for 5 minutes, add the chopped vegetables and fry them.
Add the paprika, mix well and let it cook for a few seconds without burning.
Then add the lentils, with water, bay leaf and salt to taste.
Rectify salt and ready as you see are very easy to prepare.
These lentils with vegetables I think is one of the most basic recipes of stews and probably the first one that we have started many in the preparation of spoon dishes, and is that lentils are very easy to prepare and we all will be very all right. And as I always say the main ingredient is love.
