Ingredients:
1 cup of butter, softened
1 cup of light brown sugar packed
1/3 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups of quick-cooking oats
1 cup of chopped nuts
1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (optional)
Direction:
Preheat the oven to 325 ° F. In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, spread butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla. Stir the dry ingredients into the cream mixture until it is mixed. Mix in quick oats, nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop when stacking spoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 13 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a rack to allow them to cool completely.
