Borsht is a traditional dish in our country.In Russia almost everyone loves borscht.My husband is from Latvia, and initially he didn't quite understand the taste of borscht. Gradually, he got used to it and now the borscht was his favorite dish.

Borsch
Meat on bone (pork, beef, chicken)-500 grams
potatoes 6-8 pieces
Cabbage-500 g
carrots-1 medium
onion - 2 pieces
beet-1 the average
bell pepper - 2 pieces
sunflower oil
tomato paste -2 spoons
greens
garlic 1-2 cloves
So, take a pan of 3 liters, fill it with 2 liters of water. Drop into a pan of meat on the bones.Cook over medium heat. Before the boil, remove the foam. Cook the meat until tender.
As long as the meat is cooked, we have to cook the roasting.
Dice the onion, carrot grate on a coarse grater, beets also RUB on a grater. Fry the onions and carrots for 5 minutes and add beets. Fry for another 5 minutes.Then add tomato paste to the roasting.In summer, instead of tomato paste, you can use fresh tomatoes passed through a meat grinder.
Once finished roasting, set aside it aside for now.
The finished meat is pulled out of the broth and leave in a plate to cool. Cut the potatoes into the broth, cook for a few minutes, add the chopped cabbage.While cooking potatoes and cabbage, meat is cut into cubes. Add meat in broth. Bulgarian pepper cut into thin strips, also add to the broth.
When the potatoes are ready, add to the soup frying (beets, carrots and onions with tomatoes).
I chop garlic through a garlic press.I add at the very end and remove the borscht from the stove.
Pour borscht into bowls. And add the greens and a spoonful of sour cream.
I love fresh borscht . And some people think the borscht tastes better the next day, when it is well infused.
