We are currently holding a world record of 1,888,725 transactions (tx) within 24 hours. The record in ETH is 37% lower than our STEEM record... STEEM is the best blockchain and its usage is only 0.13% of the total blockchain capacity. There is a lot of potential for scaling left unlike any other crypto.

If the Steem blockchain usage is 0.13% now, does it mean steemit capacity is 500 Million user? but if other applications run on steem blockchain in the future it will be much less.
My guess is, we will have 2 million users at the end of 2018 and 10 million user at the end of 2019.

The potential of Steem is just super huge. A cryptocurrency backed blockchain backed social media site. I think this has never been done before and it's an innovation. If I am not wrong Reddcoin tried something similar to this but was not executed like Steem did. At $6, Steem is still a great buy as in the coming months and years, the price will surely skyrocket. This is one coin, you would surely want to hold for a long long time. I am pretty sure, this would give immense profit.
New users are joining the community in abundance and due to this rapid pace, it will be just a matter of time before the number of accounts doubles up. As more and more traffic hits Steem, the market cap of Steem will keep increasing too.
