Help Me Collect a List of "Join Steemit" Recruitment Posts (Information Bounty) - Paying 1 STEEM Per Qualified Response!

in recruitment •  8 years ago  (edited)

I would like to collect a list of posts which encourage new users to join the Steem Platform. I plan to I am willing to pay 1 STEEM per 'qualified post'. The details on what qualifies for payment are listed below.

Examples:

Rules:

  • Reply to this post with a link to the post. It must include a link to a post to qualify. (Recruitment videos are OK, but please send a link to a post with the video.)
  • The post should be geared towards potential new users - people who have not heard of Steem/Steemit/Busy/etc.
  • The post should contain information about what makes the platform awesome and encourage them to join.
  • There should be quality/substance to the post. (It doesn't have to be a novel, but it should be something that would be worth sending to someone who you want to recruit. I will use my judgement here.)
  • If there are duplicates, whoever posted the first link will get the award.
  • The bounty is open until the payout of this post closes.
  • All payouts will be made within 24 hours of the post closing.
  • Users are allowed to post as many links as they want.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

We need to market to countries where living on $5 per day is a sustainable way to live. Countries like Venezuela, Nigeria, etc. Marketing to rich people will not spread as virally......the poor are always left out of fancy "MARKETING IDEAS"

It hurts me to read Nigeria in your list @stellabelle ,this is my country and i will be forced to agree with you fractionally. But i keep telling my friends and i have been able to bring one day before yesterday, she's @pai-ciens ,have taken it upon myself to make a trend for SteemitNigeria.By tomorrow i'm bringing in two more.

stellabelle is right, what is the average living amount per day in Nigeria? its less than that

Yeah, like 80% of people leaves below that price tag.

I love your way of thinking stellabelle!

Yes, great approach @stellabelle!

Wow this one looks really good, nice pictures and even interactions on the post. Haven't seen something so well organized in some time. peace!

meep

Good one!

Good ones!

This is a good one :)

Best Steemit Promotional Video (in my opinion). Looked to see if someone posted it and was surprised I didn't see it.

Here's a post I wrote quite awhile ago: To my friends from TSU still searching for a new home: 10 things I like about Steemit and more. I've been happy to see some folks from TSU over here at Steemit. They are all good photographers that make Steemit more beautiful and more original. They value original content!

Cool, thanks!

Why not write your own. Experienced steemers could contribute..

I am planning on it actually :) I want to collect all the ones that other people have done already though, so I can reuse good ideas (with permission).

Thats what I guessed, just had to say it out loud ;) Looking forward to read it.

i did this today and i sent it to my friends on whatsApp and each keep asking me what steemit is: Venting for steemit

Like @stellabelle said, people living below $5 dollars my Country Nigeria are much,so i hope steemit can handle the traffic i'm bring here.May the Steem Force be with me on this quest.

Still learning Steemit... I benefit from these little posts! Thank you

Awesome! Glad to hear :)

A funny post on the benefits of the site and who should be on it:

Haha, nice!

SteemIt For Dummies

Idea for a post: why should businesses use SteemIt? How does it help their marketing?

Hi. Good post, but unfortunately it is old and contains outdated information that is no longer accurate (such as 90% inflation to SP holders). It wouldn't be a good one to send to new users.

Good suggestion for a post idea! Hopefully someone who reads this post will take it and run with it :)

Thanks and excellent point; some of these have good information, but also include outdated information.

Steemit post rank well on Google. Why not post as a small business (similar to a Facebook page) complete with business profile? Promote your business and make money doing it. I think this could be very effective for local restaurants, artisans, etc.

Great!

Here's one my friend! Been working hard to get my friends and family to join, not to mention my viewers! :)

Actually, @timcliff, check this one out. I think it was so obvious that it didn't occur to me. This post chronicles my first experience when Steemit rewards were transferred to my bank account. I was thinking about all the folks I've helped bring here, but my own experience was significant. https://steemit.com/steemit/@kommienezuspadt/steemit-just-got-very-real-for-me

Here's the first Steemit ambassador post. I overlooked this one as well. https://steemit.com/steemit/@kommienezuspadt/i-ve-officially-become-a-steemit-ambassador

Good initiative and I also agree with @stellabelle that countries such as Thailand, Cambodia and even some parts of Eastern Europe can benefit hugely out of it.

Hello @timcliff, I share my post with good compilation of videos to promote steemit. Thanks for the Initiative.

Thanks!

Very Techy promotional video. Can't believe this post only made cents!

Sorry - cool, but it would be too hard to use as part of a recruitment package.

Cool, thanks!

This is my selection, I don't if it qualifies, but it's my choice
here the author, relatively newbie, shares his experience of getting 100 followers in two months of time and how he feel responsible to the community

It is a cool post and I will count it, but I won't take any more like this because it is not something that you would send to a new user to get them to join.

This is great! Hook a brother up!

The STEEM bounty isn't a necessity but if any of these will help, please feel free to use them! Bringing new users to the platform is one of my favorite past times.

This post features five Minneapolis friends and artists that've joined. Some still posting regularly.

In the first paragraph on this post, I shot video of my friend @brileigh [...just joined Steemit in the last month], making her first coffee shop purchase with rewards she earned posting on Steemit. It's adorable.

Hope they help!

Cool, thanks.

Steem: An In-Depth Overview

The Ultimate Steem Guide

Maybe already done, but both well written.

Cool. Great resources, but these are more geared towards users who are already here than someone who hasn't heard of the platform yet and we are trying to get to join. I'll award 1 STEEM for both though :)

This is a good/useful post, but not really one that you would send to someone who hadn't heard of the platform yet.

hmmm it's a question to Stephen that I can use once i'll start those promotion flyers ;)

Interesting article on how video games could bring users to steem.
https://steemit.com/games/@triverse/how-video-games-could-help-steemit-expand-and-grow

Also a great post, but not something you would send to someone to get them to join.

I was thinking of encouraging people to join steemit, but how long til this offer available?

I'm not sure what you mean by offer.

Great timing- I just posted this post in a dozen FB groups today- anyone feel free to use it- you just may want to change the earnings number to reflect your account as opposed to mine.........

Are you tired of FB censoring- you do know that FB, mores than ever is determining what comes through your feed? As I understand they know use 200 MSM news sources to determine if an article is 'real' of 'fake' news.

Now we all know good and well that the US MSM are by far the most prolific purveyors of fake ones on the planet yet FB uses them as a guide to filter the information that flows through our timelines?

We are also seeing Google manipulate search results to hide things like Pedogate and well as protecting certain corrupted politicians.

Twitter is also censoring users who dare discuss topics such as PEDOGATE that pose a threat to the elite overlords.

And then there's YouTube (owned by Google)- YT is now demonetizing videos like the truth crowd has never seen before- had them do that to a few of mine. Complete censorship and scumbaggery.

I find myself spending less and less time in all of the platforms mentioned above and use DuckDuckGo for my search engine NOT google.

What can you do to both bury FB and get paid for the content YOU produce and share? I mean without us and our content FB crumbles into worthlessness. They are literally taking our creative energies and making BILLIONS and giving you nothing in return aside from censorship and suspensions.

Here's what you do to fight back. Join www.steemit.com

It's absolutely free to sign up and start posting- it's a different format than FB but the key is that YOU get paid for posting, commenting, and reading and upvoting other people's content.

I have been on Steemit side January 8th of this year and my account is already worth $1,300- how much is your FB account worth? That's what I thought.

So do your part in burying the evil tools of censorship and control used by the nefarious overlords and GET PAID IN THE PROCESS- sign up today and when you do be sure to follow TheLightReports- I'm pretty good about following those who follow me. ^ months from now you'll be really happy you did.

Oh and one other thing to note is that smart people see steemit as the future therefore the content you'll find there is often top notch stuff written vey some very intelligent people.

Can you make it a post and send a link?

Try to make them posts that someone would send to a potential new user to get them to sign up.

Will do from now on @timcliff

Thanks!

We collected some Steem.center wiki pages to suggest here:
Welcome to Steemit! Here are some useful wiki articles for new steemians.
Thanks and good luck for us all again!

Open mic has a great promotional video that we are free to use for advertising. It is a video targeted towards people who don't know about steem and play music. Check It! I just put one older link but is available on most of their posts!

https://steemit.com/openmic/@luzcypher/open-mic-week-27-winners-see-who-won-open-mic-and-join-us-this-week

Really neat video to bring new people who enjoy cooking. Like how targeted this one is.

Steem promotional video. Simple and to the point.

Hello Tim !
I don't know if you are still looking for this kind of post but I've written this one
-> https://steemit.com/steem/@malik.roxane/how-i-ended-up-on-steemit-and-how-to-convince-your-friends-they-should-too-with-a-great-trailer

Cool, thanks. I will check it out :)

Let me know what do you think, it's my second article on the platform :-) All comments are welcome to get better !

This is an awesome resource, but not really in the scope of what the bounty is for. It isn't really geared towards users who have not heard of the platform before. It is a better tool for helping new users once they are here.

My bad, should have read more carefully.

Same as the previous reply - great resource for new users who are already here, but not really geared towards recruitment.

Interesting

Here's a promo video for a "steemit course", but it a good overall portray of steemit !
https://steemit.com/steem/@marketingmonk/steemit-exclusive-a-sneak-peak-at-promo-video-for-the-complete-steemit-course

I'll take this one, but technically it is not in scope.

See previous replies.

Papa at it again with a great promotional idea. Really like the humor and possible effectiveness of his KA-CHING IDEA!

https://steemit.com/marketing/@papa-pepper/ka-ching-promo-video-idea-for-steemit

Sorry, but I think you are misunderstanding the goal of the bounty. I am trying to gather posts that can be sent to potential new users to get them to join. This is a great post and an awesome idea, but I wouldn't send it to someone who has never heard of the platform and I want to recruit.

Okay so more specifics about Steem if it's a video. Got it. Thanks.

Great new post an hour ago by @soundlegion making a video for people new to Steem and a post on her thoughts on its rise for the future!

https://steemit.com/steemit/@soundlegion/a-social-media-revolution-could-bitcoin-double-or-triple-in-price-why-steem-could-take-top-spot-and-even-pass-bitcoin

It is a great post, but I don't think it is really geared towards recruitment of new users. Someone who has never heard of crypto currency is going to get lost if we try to send this to them to convince them to join.

I think I am slightly confused even after reading the criteria and whole post. I felt like since she is a big music promoter...if she shared this video of her music video with Steem aspects, it was a promotional video that would bring new users. You are very generous with the Steem bounty...so any post you don't see meets criteria is totally fine with me man. Thanks for taking the time to actually look at each one. Much appreciated. I enjoy these bounty games!

Sorry for any confusion. Basically what I am looking for are posts that target potential new users who have never heard of the platform before, and encourages them to join. Posts that just highlight good things about the platform are not really enough. It should be a post specifically aimed at recruiting someone.

Another way to look at it is if you met a random person on the street and could send them one post to try and get them to join, what would you send them?

Okay, thank you for the clarification. Next ones will work. Luckily, I have almost a week! Haha. Cheers.
