I've taken pictures of these kinds of flowers before in the middle of the summer. I was surprised that they are still growing in some areas around the way. Because I thought this to be a rare moment I stopped to snap.
These flowers are so clean and crisp. The colors, shapes, and edges all so defined compared to some of the more free flowing flowers I see day in day out.
They are strong. Full of life even in the colder winter temperatures. Truly surprised to still see these flowers living this time of the year.
