I do not understand how failure to plan...on you part; constitutes as an emergency...on my part?

I heard on the news that because of the covid-19 shutdown, the red cross says that it is running low on its blood supply because of the shut down. (I guess that what was meant was that blood donations were in short supply due to the shutdown...Well the people at the red cross should have spoken up when their buddies were trying to spread fear porn!
