The meaning of redemption:´Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?´, Matthew 9:11

Redemption is a spiritual Passover, it is repentance to change our way of life, the passage from death to life, the life of God.
In the doctrine of the Kingdom of God, man is made up of body, soul and spirit. From here we have the spiritual hierarchy of man, when the body prevails we have the natural man, when the soul prevails we have the rational man and when the spirit prevails we have the spiritual man.
The spiritual man (the man full of the holy spirit) has the task of rehabilitating the oppressed, the hopeless, those who no longer expect anything good from others. Jesus as a model of man full of the spirit, explains to us the importance of conversion to the Kingdom of Heaven:
"As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. ´Follow me,´ he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, ´Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?´
On hearing this, Jesus said, ´It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ´I desire mercy, not sacrifice´. For I do not come to call the righteous, but sinners.´", Matthew 9:9-12.

Sin and righteousness (“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, Matthew 7:12) are ways, a society cannot prosper if oppression prevails. Accepting conversion, redemption, that is to say, recognizing that "it is not convenient to be bad", living continuously in shocks due to the uncertainty of tomorrow; and that there is a better way to live, is the basis for achieving the security of a peaceful and just life.
Many religions have become true machines to generate poverty, that is why the true spiritual leader like Jesus, must show the people the true path, the passage from a life full of sins to a life of righteousness, establishing good customs through fair laws, and always setting the example.
