Chocolate Sponge Cake
Ingredients:
4 whole eggs,
6 tbsp white sugar
5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder.
Procedure:
Beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer on high speed for 15 minutes until white and fluffy.
Preheat the oven to 180C (365F).
Sift in Cocoa powder half at a time and mix on low speed for a minute or two.
Pour the batter into the ungreased tube pan and drop it lightly on the counter to raise the air bubbles out of the batter.
Hot water bath 180C bake for 20 minutes *Do not open the oven door. Once cooked live to cool for 15 minutes and remove from the oven.
When itβs done drop the pan lightly to prevent shrinking.
