Found my first ever Morel Mushrooms today...and they were IN THE REIKI FOREST!!!

Today's Reiki Healing Journey was extra special. Why you ask? It is because I have found my first ever Morel Mushrooms! (or perhaps I should say they found me).

♥ ~ ♥ ~ ♥

I am still very new to foraging, so this is very exciting for me! The best part was, I wasn't even looking for them. I just happened to glance over, and they caught my eye. They must have been whispering to my Soul, so very faintly...but I was able to pick up the vibe none-the-less!

          wow! This is good. I haven't seen morel mushrooms before, just on pictures.
          Hopefully, I'll get to see them one day.

              That's an awesome find! I used to go mushrooming in the Maine woods with my dad when I was a kid. My mom would prepare the mushrooms. I did not appreciate mushrooms then! Now, is a different story. I love them. Northern Arizona has mushrooms naturally growing, but not Tucson...not the kind you eat anyway. Great post. Thank you.

                That is so cool @weq! <3 I only recently started on the journey of mushroom hunting and foraging. I will need to look up a good recipe for my two morels lol maybe I will get lucky and see one floating through the steemfeed (hint-hint @amy-goodrich..do you have any morel recipes by chance?)

                  I've used morels in vegetable broth. I can only find them dried here. They work well in the broth. I hope you find more!

                              I hunt mushrooms. Only found a few over last couple of years, but doing better with fall mushrooms. Lots of oysters mushrooms last fall. Never found Chantrelles yet but always looking.
