  • First of all, he hasn't been proven guilty, yet.

  • Secondly, he is the Vatican treasurer. He therefore knows a lot of secrets. I can't see him leaving if he doesn't want to go.

    He is a cardinal. That is the rank from which the next pope is chosen. The fact that he will be charged alone is huge. He would not be charged if there wasn't enough evidence.

        I only said he had been charged, and that the Church has form. If he doesn't face justice, then the integrity of the entire church is shot
