No, most atheists are just people that don't believe. Nobody hates those, or god, for the same reasons. However belief in a god leads to terrible outcomes, fanaticism and other nastiness. People no more hate god than they hate The Joker - they're both fictional. They hate the harm the idea of god has caused.
