Oṃ mani padme hum ((Sanskrit:Sanskrit:ॐ मणिपद्मे हूं)) is a homage to the four-armed Sadakshari Avalokiteshvara. It is first mentioned in the Karandavyuha Sutra.

Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō is the homage to Saddharmapundarika aka Lotus sutra. It’s the central mantra chanted of the Japanese Nichiren Buddhism. It means— Devotion to the Mystic Law of the Lotus Sutra.
