Christianity Isn't an Evil Religion

I am sick and tired of edgy atheists saying that Christianity is the worst thing since Hitler. While Christianity has been responsible for some evils in the world, I won't deny this fact, most modern-day Christians that I have met are nice, peaceful people that take the teachings of Jesus to heart. Loving your neighbor, the golden rule; the nice, loving, things that Jesus taught. It often motivates them to do good in the world, such as donate to charity, help people out, and overall be a good person. Yes, there are some things in the Bible, particularly in the Old Testament, that seems a bit violent and archaic today, but modern Christians in the western world don't follow commands about stoning homosexuals and not mixing fabrics. That is not what modern Christianity is about. Most modern Christians just want to be nice to people. I'm not even religious, and I can see through the nonsense that dumb atheists on the Internet say.
