I thought "God" didn't hate!

You should get a concordance and look up all the instances of the words hate and abhor. You might be surprised at how many of them were talking about things God or the Lord hates.

Yes but that is the old testiment God I think?

Yes, the same God that in the new testament says he is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Lol that is why I have given up on organised religion!

Organized religion is mostly a counterfeit by the Devil of what God says is the way things should be done.

Believe what God says, not what some person who is mostly seeking his own benefit says. Look for servants, givers, not takers and you might find something true to believe and a true God to worship.

Most people "give up on religion" because they want to continue doing whatever it is that they think is sinful in the eyes of God. It is difficult to voluntarily become a servant to anyone, even an all-powerful God. Too many still belive, "If it feels good, do it," and thus continue to do things they believe are wrong.

Yep! That's what I thought too!
