Rahmatullah Mosque

The mosque is named Rahmatullah. the mosque is a witness to the ferocity of tsunami waves that devastated Aceh, in 2004 ago. Rahmatullah Mosque becomes the only remaining building of a village in Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar District.

When Tsunami occurs, the entire building is destroyed and crashed to hundreds of meters inland. Only about 700 survivors, while thousands of others met his destiny at the time.

Of all the destruction that occurred, magic Rahmatullah Mosque which is only about 500 meters from the shoreline still stands firmly. Although some sides of the mosque buildings are damaged, most remain intact and survive.
