REVITALIZING THE SOUL

According to an old adage, "all work without play makes Juan a dull person". Very true. From Mondays to Fridays, we work, we toil, we labor as government workers. It is our commitment to the public upon entering the portals of the government service that we will serve then to the utmost of our capacities. However, just like anyone else, we too are humans. We need some rest, we need to take a breath and enjoy life. That is why, the government has included in its plans and programs the activities that would boost the morale and physical aspect of an employee, the very essence why there is the so-called capacity development trainings. It aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the latter to be more effective and efficient in the service.

In the organization where I connected with, we have this CEDAR (Center for Ecological Development and Recreation) Day Celebration. This is a joint project of the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources and the Municipal Government of Impasugong. The celebration is conducted annually every month of April.

The last celebration that I attended was so colorful. We played parlor games which brought us back to our childhood days. Below are the photos taken during that celebration.
