Hi, Macie here. I'm going to show you how to rename a file on your Mac. So first, we're going to find the file we want to rename. I'm going to open this folder on the desktop. Now I have three documents here, so to rename those files, you can click on it, just one time to highlight, and then again, to make the text editable. Now I can title them whatever I like, and then once you're done, you hit enter and it saves that file name for you. Another way to do it is to click on the file and then go, command I, which gives you the info on the file.

Then, underneath name and extension in the middle, you can rename it to whatever you'd like, and again, you hit enter and it will change the name. And that's how you would rename a file on your Mac.
